Senior Accountant

📋 Description

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, financial schedules, and supporting documentation
• Assist with purchase price allocations, opening balance sheet setup, and integration of financial
• Coordinate with internal teams and seller accounting contacts to collect financial information
• Support acquisition-related activities involving cash, working capital, accounts receivable
• Prepare hospice revenue and expense entries and reconcile billing and reimbursement-related
• Monitor hospice cap activity, prepare supporting documentation, and assist with cap-related

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• CPA certification or progress toward CPA is preferred.
• 3+ years of professional accounting experience, with healthcare, home health, or hospice experience
• Experience with acquisitions, integrations, or multi-entity accounting is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and healthcare-related accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems.
