Senior accountant

📋 Description

• Ensure accurate and timely accounting in compliance with local legislation and TOMRA Group policies.
• Process and oversee invoices, payments, payroll, VAT, fixed assets, and other accounting transactions.
• Maintain the fixed asset register, coordinate inventories and reconciliations.
• Coordinate monthly closings and statutory deadlines, ensuring accurate accounting documentation.
• Issue invoices, cash receipts, and other financial documents.
• Perform account reconciliations, inventories, analyses, and trend evaluations.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with double-entry bookkeeping.
• Fluent Slovak; English at least B2 (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of Slovak accounting and tax regs, incl. PO income tax and VAT; MS Office advanced.
• Advanced Excel data processing, pivot tables.
• ERP experience (SAP, IFS, etc.); IT tools for automation (Power BI, macros) are a plus.
• Proactive, organized, detail-oriented; strong analytical skills; able to meet deadlines.
