Senior Accountant

📋 Description

• Preparing monthly and quarterly close journal entries accounting for all content assets and
• Preparing quarterly royalty expense and liability calculations based on the performance of titles
• Developing a deep understanding of our content data in order to analyze and reconcile monthly, and
• Performing detailed financial statement analyses, including discussions on various issues
• Collaborating with Deal Management and Business Affairs (as needed) to understand proper accounting
• Supporting FP&A team by providing accurate financial data to assist with their budget vs.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• B.S. in Accounting with working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
• Public accounting experience (preferred, but not required)
• CPA designation (preferred, but not required)
• Experience with SOX controls and internal control environment
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel skills (Index Match, sumifs, pivot tables, etc.)
