Senior Accountant

📋 Description

• Own the monthly billing cycle end to end: recurring SaaS subscriptions, implementation fees
• Interpret signed client contracts to determine correct billing, including minimums, tiered unit
• Source billing inputs independently from Salesforce, contract files, and the Sales or Client
• Reconcile third-party vendor invoices against amounts rebilled to clients, and investigate
• Own AR collections: aging review, client follow-up, and timely escalation of at-risk balances.
• Prepare invoices for COO review and release.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including full ownership of a month-end close (must
• Hands-on US multi-state sales tax experience: nexus determination, state registrations, filings
• Working knowledge of Avalara or a comparable sales tax engine, including its integration with a
• US GAAP revenue recognition under ASC 606 applied to multi-element SaaS contracts, specifically
• Experience in a multi-entity environment with cross-border operations and foreign currency
• Experience owning or substantially supporting an external financial statement audit.
