Senior Accountant - Business Services

📋 Description

• Prepare and lodge BAS and IAS; reconcile GST and payroll liabilities.
• Maintain complete client sets of accounts using Xero and Dext.
• Oversee AP/AR processes including invoicing and reconciliations.
• Manage payroll activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide monthly management accounts and actionable client insights.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Australian accounting experience.
• Experience managing client relationships with business owners.
• Strong BAS, IAS, GST reconciliation, financial reporting, and compliance knowledge.
• Experience maintaining full sets of accounts, reconciliations, journals, and reporting.
• Familiarity with Xero and Dext cloud platforms.
• Corporate tax returns experience is highly desirable.
