Senior Accountant, Corporate (Eastern Time Zone)

📋 Description

• Active monthly close ownership: journal entries, reconciliations, workpapers.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline monthly close; optimize ERP usage.
• Conduct fluctuation and variance analysis with explanations for accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy for accounting.
• Assist with annual audits and tax compliance data preparation.
• Document internal controls and processes for repeatability.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation (or working towards) strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years related accounting experience; prior public accounting.
• Big 4 experience in audit or tax and industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Experience with ERP software (NetSuite, Oracle, Workday) preferred.
