Senior Accountant, Cost and Manufacturing Accounting

📋 Description

• Build and own the cost accounting function, including cost centers, allocation and absorption
• Partner directly with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Software teams to translate how
• Serve as a key accounting stakeholder in the design and evolution of our internally developed ERP
• Research complex U.S. GAAP matters and prepare technical memoranda and accounting policies
• Design and document internal controls over financial reporting
• Establish and maintain standard costs, analyze variances, and own product costing, inventory

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of accounting experience, including technical accounting research and documentation
• Bachelor's degree or above in accounting
• Experience with inventory, product costing, and cost of goods sold
• Accounting experience in manufacturing, hardware, medical device, or other physical-product
• Ability to research unsettled questions under U.S. GAAP and document analysis
• Ability to work independently and partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Software
