Senior Accountant - CPG Sector

📋 Description

• Oversee day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, reviewing vendor bills
• Manage vendor and customer reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, monitor AR aging, and
• Process customer payments and deposits, clear unapplied or misapplied cash, and ensure transactions
• Perform and review bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals
• Record and reconcile sales across CPG channels such as Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, wholesale
• Support accurate inventory and COGS accounting, investigate differences between sales platform

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, combined with at least 3 years of
• Direct experience working with Consumer Packaged Goods, food and beverage, consumer products
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash application, bank
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, SPS Commerce, EDI processes, and Microsoft
• Experience supporting wholesale customers, distributors, B2B accounts, e-commerce sales channels
• Strong understanding of CPG-specific activities such as distributor deductions, chargebacks, trade
