Senior Accountant

📋 Description

• Own inventory accounting and related month-end close activities, including journal entries, account
• Maintain and review standard costs, bills of material, routings, overhead rates, and other ERP cost
• Analyze purchase price, material usage, labor, overhead, production, and other inventory-related
• Reconcile inventory subledgers to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies across raw
• Support cycle counts and physical inventories, including planning, variance analysis, accounting
• Prepare and evaluate inventory reserves, including excess and obsolete inventory and

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Five years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, inventory valuation, and manufacturing or
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, reconciliations, and
• Experience working with an enterprise resource planning system; SAP experience is strongly
