Senior Accountant (Eastern Time Zone)

📋 Description

• Active involvement in monthly close; prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and workpapers.
• Focus areas include Revenue, Accounts Receivable, Customer on Account, and Security Deposits.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline monthly close; use ERP effectively.
• Conduct fluctuation and variance analysis with explanations for accurate results.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy for accounting.
• Assist with annual audits and tax compliance data preparation.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation (or working towards) strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of related accounting experience; public accounting preferred.
• Big 4 experience in audit or tax and industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills: XLOOKUP, PivotTables, Dynamic Arrays; Power Query preferred.
