Senior Accountant, Inventory

📋 Description

• Own key components of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring financial
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries, with a particular focus on
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, resolve discrepancies
• Analyze inventory transactions across multiple sales channels and collaborate with Operations
• Calculate and analyze cost of goods sold, inventory reserves, and inventory obsolescence, ensuring
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and accounting support to cross-functional teams as business

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA certification is preferred.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with Big Four public accounting experience
• Demonstrated experience managing and reconciling inventory across multiple locations or operational
• Strong variance-analysis skills, with the ability to identify root causes, investigate
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including the ability to research, interpret, and apply U.S.
• Experience working with ERP systems is required; NetSuite experience is preferred.
