Senior Accountant, Inventory & Cost Accounting

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end inventory accounting for raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods held
• Prepare and record monthly inventory transactions in the ERP system, including receipts, transfers
• Perform monthly reconciliations between the inventory subledger and general ledger, maintaining
• Support U.S. GAAP inventory valuation, including lower-of-cost-or-net-realizable-value analysis and
• Analyze purchase price, usage, yield, and standard-to-actual variances and recommend appropriate
• Serve as the primary finance contact for contract manufacturers, warehouses, and logistics

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with significant responsibility for inventory and cost accounting.
• Experience in manufacturing, life sciences, chemicals, consumer products, or a similar
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP inventory accounting, including ASC 330, standard costing
• Hands-on ERP experience with inventory and BOM modules; Infor experience is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations, financial modeling, and
