Senior Accountant - Payments

📋 Description

• Manage the preparation, review and execution of scheduled and ad hoc payments across multiple
• Ensure payment activities comply with internal controls, approval requirements and governance
• Investigate payment queries, exceptions and reconciliation items, working closely with banking
• Support treasury operations and cash movement activities, helping to ensure payments are processed
• Contribute to month-end, quarter-end and year-end finance activities, including banking-related
• Partner with internal and external auditors by providing information and support for reviews

🎯 Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline
• 3-5 years' experience in treasury, payments, accounts payable, finance operations or a similar
• Strong understanding of banking operations, payment processes, financial controls, approval
• Proficiency in ERP systems and online banking platforms, with experience using Dynamics 365
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, combined with a commitment to accuracy
