Senior Accountant (Projects)

📋 Description

• Administer and maintain commercial and federal government contracts within Unanet GovCon ERP.
• Prepare and submit accurate monthly project invoices to commercial and government customers in
• Post customer payments daily and maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and receivables.
• Monitor outstanding receivables, support collection follow-up, and reconcile billed amounts with
• Review project subcontractor invoices, validating them against contracts, purchase orders, and
• Coordinate with internal teams to investigate and resolve billing, payment, and invoice

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience across project accounting and functions such
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control principles
• Experience with project-based accounting in a multi-company environment
• Experience with ERP and accounting platforms such as QBO Online, Deltek Costpoint, or Unanet
• Knowledge of FAR, CAS, and DCAA regulations and compliance requirements
