Senior Accountant (US GAAP)

📋 Description

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain the general ledger, and ensure financial
• Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations, investigating discrepancies
• Execute month-end and year-end closing processes while meeting established deadlines and accounting
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial records and reporting documentation.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and provide clear explanations or recommendations to support

🎯 Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 recent years
• Strong, hands-on knowledge of U.S. GAAP and demonstrated experience applying its principles in
• A professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, SAICA, or an equivalent designation
• Proven experience managing full-cycle accounting, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and
• Practical experience with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements, including profit and loss statements
