Senior Accounts Receivables and Collections Specialist

📋 Description

• Manage a portfolio of high-volume, high-risk, escalated accounts.
• Resolve complex billing, payment, eligibility, and discrepancies.
• Provide guidance to the collections team and mentor juniors.
• Analyze delinquency and aging trends to improve performance.
• Collaborate with Billing, Cash Application, Client Services, and more to resolve issues.
• Monitor performance and escalate risks to resolution.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in accounts receivable, collections, or related field.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of AR, collections, premium billing, and dispute resolution.
• Advanced analytical/problem-solving abilities; identify root causes and trends.
• Leadership/mentoring capabilities; coach colleagues.
• Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables); Outlook/Teams/SharePoint.
