Senior AI Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and operate the knowledge graph and ontology for grocery data.
• Build retrieval systems (vector, graph, structured) for reliable grounding.
• Develop LLM-powered agents and the serving infra to run them.
• Create tools and interfaces that engineers depend on—a platform.
• Own evaluation and data foundation; track faithfulness, accuracy, latency, cost.
• Build Databricks/MLflow pipelines to move from prototype to production.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years building production software, data, or ML systems; strong systems and API design (Python).
• Hands-on experience with LLM systems: retrieval/RAG, agents and tool-use, prompt and context engineering, evaluation.
• Solid data engineering and data-platform foundations: pipelines, data modeling, and a modern cloud data stack (Databricks/Spark, MLflow, cloud warehouses).
• Comfort with latency and cost trade-offs, non-determinism, and guardrails to ensure trustworthiness.
• A platform mindset: build for leverage with clean interfaces and thrive in ambiguity.
