Senior AI Research Engineer

📋 Description

• Wear multiple roles in the research-to-production lifecycle (ML, ML-Ops, software).
• Own and evolve research infra end-to-end: orchestration, training, tracking, deployment.
• Build and scale distributed compute for research (Ray, Kubernetes, GCP); manage GPU capacity.
• Improve R&D speed via performance engineering: vectorize workloads, profile bottlenecks.
• Understand and use Phaidra’s internal platform capabilities to serve customers.
• Maintain clear documentation of research, products and actions.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proven track record leading projects end-to-end.
• Experience as Software or ML Engineer bridging research and production.
• Understanding of ML/ML-Ops concepts and non-deterministic systems.
• Python fluency; knowledge of C++ and Rust.
• Strong engineering background with scientific understanding and values alignment.
