Senior AI Research Scientist (Model-based RL)

📋 Description

• Design and implement model-based RL agents and controllers for industrial systems.
• Develop learned dynamics and world models with training pipelines.
• Research safe RL, constrained control, scenario planning, and Bayesian RL.
• Report findings clearly to internal and external audiences.
• Collaborate on ambitious research projects and translate results to production.
• Mentor Research Engineers to apply research to industrial domains.

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in technical field or equivalent; strong model-based RL background.
• 2+ years of post-PhD research experience.
• Extensive research in model-based RL and control theory.
• Hands-on with simulators and closing the sim-to-real gap.
• Python and PyTorch; differentiable simulators; distributed compute (Ray/Kubernetes/GCP).
• Publications in RL, control, or related areas; passion for applying AI to industry.
