Senior AI Research Scientist (Model-based RL)

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and evaluate model-based RL agents and planning controllers.
• Develop generalizable learned dynamics/world models with pretraining and fine-tuning.
• Apply safe RL, constrained control, scenario planning, and Bayesian RL for reliable deployment.
• Translate research into production-ready solutions and lead large-scale deployments.
• Communicate findings via documentation, presentations, and discussions.
• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and external partners to apply AI to industry.

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in ML/control/computer science or equivalent experience with model-based RL.
• At least 2 years post-PhD research experience.
• Deep experience in model-based and model-free RL, safe RL, planning, world models.
• Experience building AI agents in simulators; sim-to-real transfer.
• Python, PyTorch, SciPy expertise.
• Experience with scalable infra (Ray, Kubernetes, Docker, GCP).
