Senior AI Research Scientist (Model-based RL)

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and evaluate model-based reinforcement learning agents.
• Develop planning-based controllers (MPC/MPPI) and deployment prototypes for industrial control.
• Build learned dynamics and world models across diverse systems.
• Research safe RL, constrained control, scenario planning, and Bayesian RL.
• Translate research into production-ready solutions; lead large-scale initiatives.
• Collaborate with teams; mentor Research Engineers; communicate results clearly.

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in ML, control, CS or related field with model-based RL expertise.
• At least 2 years of research experience after PhD.
• Deep knowledge in model-based RL, safe RL, planning, world models.
• Experience building AI agents in simulators; sim-to-real transfer.
• Proficiency in Python; PyTorch; SciPy.
• Experience with scalable infra: Ray, Kubernetes, Docker, or GCP.
• Strong publications in RL, AI, or control domains.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in remote, international settings.
