Senior AI Research Scientist (Model-based RL)

📋 Description

• Design and implement model-based RL agents (MPC/MPPI) for industrial control.
• Develop learned dynamics/world models across systems; include pretraining.
• Research safe RL, constrained control, scenario planning, and Bayesian RL.
• Turn research into production-ready solutions and lead large-scale rollouts.
• Communicate results via documentation and presentations.
• Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and partners to apply AI in industry.

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in ML/Control/CS or equivalent practical experience in model-based RL.
• At least 2 years of research experience post-PhD.
• Deep knowledge of model-based RL, model-free RL, safe RL, planning.
• Proven experience building AI agents using simulators and sim-to-real transfer.
• Strong Python programming; experience with PyTorch and SciPy.
• Experience with scalable experiments and infra: Ray, Kubernetes, Docker, or GCP.
