Senior Analytical Engineer

📋 Description

• Own Gold layer for a domain; design curated data models for dashboards and Genie spaces.
• Implement canonical KPI logic; translate KPIs into versioned metric marts.
• Build semantic layer and Genie spaces; author metadata and docs for self-serve queries.
• Own the metric dictionary; single source of truth for metric definitions.
• Data contracts and SLAs at Silver→Gold; own data quality, freshness, on-call.
• Build and maintain board-ready dashboards on governed Gold data with DS to create reusable products.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in analytics/data engineering; ownership of data models.
• Advanced SQL and data modeling (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake, SCD).
• Hands-on with dbt, Airflow, Git, and Databricks.
• Data quality, observability, schema mgmt, data contracts, and performance tuning.
• Domain fluency in at least one business area; turn distrust into durable fixes.
• Cross-functional partner; exposure to Unity Catalog, LookML, or reverse-ETL is a plus.
