Senior Analytics Engineer

📋 Description

• Own analytics modeling lifecycle for a business domain; build dbt models on Snowflake
• Develop and maintain the semantic layer powering the BI platform
• Partner with Finance, Sales, Marketing, CS, and RevOps to translate questions into models
• Define, document, and enforce consistent metric definitions and segmentation
• Build trustworthy self-serve data products for routine questions
• Collaborate with Data Platform to specify sources, validate data, and raise quality issues

🎯 Requirements

• 6–8 years in analytics/data engineering; 4+ years in analytics engineering
• Advanced SQL and dbt or similar transformation framework
• Cloud data warehouse experience; Snowflake preferred
• BI/semantic-layer modeling; Looker LookML or Omni
• Strong dimensional/data-modeling fundamentals (Kimball, star schema)
• Translate business questions into data models; strong stakeholder communication
