Senior Analytics Engineer

📋 Description

• Model data from many sources on our central platform and deliver trusted datasets.
• Own scalable DBT models that serve as the source of truth for key metrics.
• Design data models and grains; document business logic for consumers.
• Drive CI/CD for data pipelines and orchestration (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect).
• Collaborate with Analytics, Data Infrastructure, Engineering, and Product teams to turn requirements into solutions.
• Mentor junior analytics engineers via code reviews and pairing.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in analytics or data engineering; 3+ years in analytics engineering and production DBT.
• Expert SQL and DBT with advanced modeling, incremental processing, multi-env deployment.
• Deep experience with cloud data warehouses (Athena, Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift); tuning/incremental.
• Strong dimensional modeling, metric design; document grains and logic for consumers.
• Familiarity with semantic layers or metrics tooling (LookML, MetricFlow, dbt Semantic Layer).
• Hands-on CI/CD for data pipelines and orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect).
