Senior Analytics Engineer - Finance

📋 Description

• Own the data models and pipelines behind Canva's revenue data, including the pipeline supporting
• Build and maintain dbt models and Snowflake pipelines feeding into Canva's revenue recognition
• Partner with Revenue Accounting through each month-end close cycle, ensuring revenue data lands on
• Design and maintain automated tests, reconciliation checks, and control processes to keep the
• Act as lead technical engineer for new products, pricing models, or plan changes, translating
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to continuously improve the efficiency and accuracy of data

🎯 Requirements

• Deep experience with SQL, Python, and a modern data stack, ideally dbt and Snowflake (or
• Experience building or owning high-volume data pipelines where accuracy matters, especially
• Comfortable working with orchestration and ingestion tooling (e.g., Airflow, Fivetran) and
• Ability to sit with finance stakeholders, understand business or accounting requirements, and
• Precision, healthy paranoia about data quality, clear written communication, and calm under
• Bonus: exposure to revenue recognition concepts (ASC 606), subscription business models, or working
