Senior Analytics Engineer, Finance

📋 Description

• Design and build scalable data models and pipelines using dbt for financial analytics.
• Define and implement a semantic layer (LookML/Omni) for revenue, retention, ARR, and NRR.
• Partner with Product, Finance, and Executives to deliver dashboards and tools for business health metrics (ARR, NRR).
• Establish data modeling standards for accuracy, performance, usability, and maintainability.
• Lead data governance for data quality, documentation, and access control.
• Structure financial metric definitions and accounting context to support AI reporting and anomaly detection.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, or similar.
• Deep expertise in SQL, dbt, Python, Snowflake.
• Experience with modern BI tools like Looker/Omni or similar.
• Skilled at defining core financial/operating metrics and resolving data issues.
• Strong familiarity with GitHub, CI/CD, and modern development workflows.
• Strong communicator who can partner with Finance, GTM, Product, and Exec.
