Senior Analytics Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Own and evolve analytics platform with Sigma as core BI tool.
• Define SDLC for analyst workflows across dbt and BigQuery: dev, tests, CI/CD.
• Build self-service analytics: discoverable, documented, governed dashboards.
• Ensure metrics consistency across warehouse, semantic models, and BI layer.
• Upskill Data Analysts in analytics-engineering practices.
• Provide observability for BI products: usage, freshness, data quality.
• Collaborate with Data Platform team for a coherent platform experience.
• Continuously evaluate BI tooling and patterns in the modern data stack.

🎯 Requirements

• Self-motivated with curiosity; eager to learn in a fast-paced env.
• Platform engineering experience building internal analytics/BI platforms.
• Hands-on Sigma admin; Looker/Tableau experience also valued.
• Deep experience with dbt and BigQuery; structuring and testing.
• Strong SQL and Python for tooling and automation.
• Experience establishing analytics SDLC: Git, CI/CD, testing.
• Data governance concepts: lineage, access controls, cataloging.
• English fluency; Spanish a plus.
