Senior Android Engineer, Trust & Safety

📋 Description

• Own Android on the Trust & Safety team, setting the technical direction and shipping features
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and back-end/iOS engineers to build solutions like abuse
• Work alongside a close community of peers in a hybrid work environment.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and set the bar for Android quality across
• Use the latest AI tools to find faster, smarter ways to build and ship software.
• Grow into back-end and front-end work over time as your scope on the team expands.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years experience building Android applications in a production environment using Kotlin and
• Familiarity with Coroutines and Room, and experience designing or consuming REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Solid Android fundamentals (architecture patterns, performance, testing) and a track record of
• A product-focused mindset; you work with the team to solve real business problems, not just execute
• Interest or willingness to grow into server-side and web front-end work as your scope expands.
