Senior Application Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Collaborate with product/engineering to secure design and architecture.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for the product.
• Manage the Secure Development pipeline: code security and third-party supply chain.
• Stay current on standards (OWASP Top 10 for LLMs) and translate to policy.
• Triage Bug Bounty findings and disclosed vulnerabilities.
• Participate in on-call rotation.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 5+ years in application or product security.
• Partnership with engineering teams to embed security in planning and delivery.
• Knowledge of encryption, authentication, and secure protocols.
• Familiarity with SAST, DAST, and penetration testing frameworks.
• Kubernetes security (RBAC, admission control) and Python/Go expertise.
