Senior Application Security Engineer (AI & Vulnerability)

📋 Description

• Lead ongoing operation and maintenance of Samsara's vulnerability program.
• Assist in managing vulnerability scanning tools and refine detection to reduce false positives.
• Work with the Vulnerability Technical Program Manager to generate monthly and quarterly compliance reports.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to track remediation and provide best-practice guidance.
• Assist in analyzing and triaging vulnerabilities, escalating critical issues as needed.
• Participate in security incident investigations related to high-profile vulnerabilities and assess impact.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of security engineering and vulnerability management in enterprise.
• Experience with vulnerability management tooling (e.g., Wiz or Semgrep).
• Deep expertise in CVSS and EPSS.
• Strong ability to assess vulnerability severity and impact.
• Development background in Python or Go.
• DevOps/DevSecOps/SRE with AWS and Terraform.
