Senior Applied Research Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop tools to help agents learn from experience and run long tasks.
• Identify bottlenecks between today’s tech and future self-improving agents.
• Generate and validate research ideas across real customer tasks.
• Work on CUDA kernels and high-performance LLM tracing dashboards.
• Collaborate in a GPU-rich environment with autonomy to shape the roadmap.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in CS, ML, Robotics, or related field.
• 4+ years ML experience, or PhD with 2+ years industry ML.
• Strong Python programming; experience with PyTorch or JAX.
• LLM post-training techniques: supervised fine-tuning, RL, distillation.
• Experience deploying ML models in production environments.
• Strong research and problem-solving skills; able to work in ambiguity.
