Senior Applied Scientist

📋 Description

• Collaborate on a multidisciplinary team to research and deploy ML models.
• Stay current on ML advances and apply them to real business needs.
• Work with engineers, product managers, and specialists to gather requirements.
• Lead design reviews, modeling discussions, and requirement definitions.
• Mentor junior scientists and promote reproducibility and scalable ML in production.
• Champion Evaluation-Driven Development with automated testing and monitoring.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors and Ph.D in Computer Science or related fields.
• 2+ years postgrad industrial research in ML/NLP/IR/deep learning.
• Deep learning implementation experience (TensorFlow, PyTorch, MXNet).
• Excellent command of Python; proficiency in other modern languages.
• Experience with ML systems and production deployment (SageMaker, MLFlow).
• Strong communication, writing and presentation skills.
