📋 Description

• Negotiate pre-M&A contracts (NDAs, NRLs, joinders, letters)
• Serve as primary day-to-day contact for clients (funds, asset managers)
• Maintain/update client playbooks for consistent negotiations
• Mentor junior lawyers and paralegals; contribute to team culture
• Improve Carta's legal tech with AI-backed tools (Ava, HighQ)
• Work within Contracts - North Americas team

🎯 Requirements

• Commercially minded and client-focused
• 4+ years post-law-school corporate/transactional experience
• Experience with financial services (asset managers or banks)
• Licensed to practice law in the Americas (US/Canada)
• Tech-savvy; comfortable with AI tools and HighQ
• Self-starter; thrives in a fast-paced environment
