Senior Attorney - Corporate, Employment, and Data Privacy, U.S.

📋 Description

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (supplier contracts, leases, licenses)
• Advise on corporate governance, board materials, and entity management
• Guide regulatory compliance for multi-state retail, food & beverage, and franchise law
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Business Development on day-to-day transactions
• Lead privacy program: CPRA/CCPA compliance, DPAs, data security reviews
• Manage labor and employment matters: wage/hour, investigations, discipline, terminations

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school; active CA or NY bar
• 8-10 years PQE with mix of law firm and in-house preferred
• Expertise in two core areas: corporate/commercial, labor & employment, or data privacy
• Strong transactional drafting and negotiation of complex agreements
• Solid understanding of US employment law across multiple jurisdictions (incl. CA)
• Practical knowledge of US data privacy frameworks (CCPA/CPRA) and privacy programs
