Senior Automation Engineer

📋 Description

• Embed with scientific teams to define workflows and QC metrics.
• Design, develop and qualify new workcells and liquid handling.
• Collaborate with LIMS for data capture and LIMS integration.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, software, and system issues.
• Collaborate with ML, software, and science teams on onboarding.
• Identify opportunities to deploy automation more efficiently.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 8+ yrs (BS) / 6+ yrs (MS) / 3+ yrs (PhD) in automation hardware.
• Automation systems development/integration in life sciences (robotics and liquid handling).
• Python, SQL, and/or C# programming; data handling.
• Independent worker who mentors others.
• Experience automating scientific workflows (cell culture, genomic screening).
