Senior Azure Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Operate and maintain the VM image build and release process, keeping golden images current.
• Implement Azure Policy and governance controls; remediate drift and non-compliance.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop PowerShell tooling for provisioning, configuration, and automation.
• Configure core Azure networking including VNets, NSGs, DNS, load balancing.
• Lead investigations across infra, network, and app layers using logs and tools.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on Azure platform experience at scale across compute, storage, networking, identity
• Strong knowledge of ARM, Azure resource lifecycle, RBAC, managed identities, Azure Policy engine.
• Expert PowerShell for production automation, modular tooling, error handling.
• Azure networking expertise: VNets, NSGs, private endpoints, DNS, load balancing, hybrid
• VM image build/release experience: Azure Image Builder, Packer, or Shared Image Galleries.
• Infrastructure as Code with Bicep, Terraform, ARM, or equivalent; module design and CI/CD.
