Senior Back-end engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and evolve server-side applications and APIs.
• Lead complex integrations with external partners, esp. EHR systems.
• Continuously improve back-end architecture and developer experience.
• Guide architectural discussions and influence long-term technical decisions.
• Collaborate with ML, Product, and Front-End teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Mentor junior engineers and scale the engineering culture.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong foundations in computer science or a related discipline.
• Senior-level back-end experience in production-critical environments.
• Proficient in back-end languages like Java, Kotlin, C++, or Python.
• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable APIs and distributed systems (GraphQL/OpenAPI a plus).
• Able to drive architectural decisions and technical strategy.
• Write clean, maintainable code with high software quality standards.
• Clear English communication.
• Bonus: cloud infrastructure, security/compliance, or healthcare data standards (FHIR).
