Senior Backend Developer, Campaigns Team (Remote)

📋 Description

• Design and Build Campaign Workflows: Design and implement the core systems that let marketers
• Own Campaign Authoring & Content Assembly: Build the systems that turn authored creatives
• Ensure Reliable Handoff to Delivery: Own the layer that prepares and monitors campaigns as they
• Enable Audience Targeting & Personalization: Collaborate with Product and other engineering
• Build for Extensibility: Develop flexible, configurable systems that allow new campaign types
• Drive Operational Excellence: Maintain high system reliability through observability, metrics

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience building and maintaining large distributed systems at scale that are fault tolerant and
• Exemplary software engineering skills (design, unit testing, git, code review, CI/CD)
• Strong foundation in modern backend development (e.g. Python, Ruby, etc. - we mostly use Python
• Strong experience with relational databases, schema design, and query optimization (we use
