Senior Backend Engineer

📋 Description

• Join a cross-functional team (Backend, Frontend, SRE, QA); team defined during interview.
• Build tools, APIs, and integrations for Remote's products.
• Backend: Elixir/Phoenix with Postgres; Frontend: React/Next.js.
• GitLab for VCS and CI/CD; AWS hosting; deployments multiple times daily.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals and a track record shipping secure, scalable systems.
• Experience designing or adopting automation workflows and iterating.
• Systems thinking: define specs, break down plans, verify, and close the quality loop.
• PostgreSQL (or similar).
• CI/CD experience (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins or similar).
• Nice to have: Elixir, Erlang, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Nextjs.
