BS/MS in CS, Engineering, or related
5+ years of expert-level JavaScript/Node backend at scale
Distributed systems: scaling, fault tolerance, caching, load balancing
Data structures, algorithms, systems design fundamentals
Distributed DBs (Aerospike, Redis) and streaming (Kafka, Kinesis)
SQL/RDBMS, Linux, networking, Git
