Senior Backend Engineer - Asset Sales

📋 Description

• Build and operate distributed C# and .NET microservices on Azure, within an event-driven
• Own services end-to-end from idea through implementation, deployment, production, and iteration
• Drive financial inclusion through backend systems serving millions across African markets
• Work with event-driven systems and messaging technologies (Azure Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Collaborate in distributed teams across time zones, working in core GMT hours
• Embrace AI-native engineering practices (Claude and other AI tools) in daily workflow

🎯 Requirements

• Strong grasp of C# and .NET development
• Experience with event-driven systems (Azure Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar)
• Microservices architecture experience, ideally on Azure and Kubernetes
• Experience using observability tooling (e.g., Grafana, Application Insights)
• Comfort using AI tools in daily engineering workflow (design, code review, testing, incident
• DevOps culture mindset, including on-call/production ownership
