Senior Backend Engineer

📋 Description

• Own your work from A to Z: architecture, coding features, monitoring releases' performance
• Own the delivery and architecture of the pricing system for all products
• Iterate quickly based on fast user feedback, following product usage
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, front-end) to design user experiences
• Optimise existing endpoints, driving down latency and ensuring scalability

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Django and Django Rest Framework
• Experience with relational databases at scale, schema design, Django query optimisation, and
• Experience scaling SaaS and subscription management (Stripe, RevenueCat)
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL database > 100 GB
• Experience designing endpoints with frontend engineers and delivering Open API and developer
• Pragmatic, favouring speed of iteration and using frameworks to avoid reinventing the wheel
