Senior Backend Engineer (Elixir)

📋 Description

• Lead major team projects for Remote HR/Payroll products.
• Contribute to product work with feedback and solutions.
• Maintain deep understanding of the team's domain (product + eng).
• Mentor engineers and provide code-review feedback.
• Debug and solve technical and business issues.
• Implement interfaces with performance, accessibility, and API design in mind.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals; ship secure, reliable systems.
• Experience designing or adopting agentic/automation workflows.
• Systems thinking: define specs, plan, verify, ensure quality.
• Postgres (or similar) experience.
• CI/CD (GitLab, Github, Jenkins or similar).
• Demonstrates AI fluency and automation capabilities.
