Senior Backend Engineer (Elixir)

📋 Description

• Lead major team projects for HR/Payroll products.
• Participate in product work; provide feedback and propose solutions.
• Maintain domain understanding of product and engineering areas.
• Mentor other engineers and provide guidance.
• Build reusable agentic workflows and primitives in the codebase.
• Use verification loops to ensure secure, reliable results.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals; shipping secure, reliable, scalable production systems.
• Experience designing or adopting agentic/automation workflows.
• Systems thinking: define specs, break down plans, verify, close quality loop.
• Postgres or similar.
• CI/CD (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins or similar).
• Demonstrates strong automation and AI capabilities and AI fluency.
