Senior Backend Engineer (Elixir)

📋 Description

• Lead major team projects for HR/Payroll products
• Build tools, APIs, and integrations for Remote
• Work on Elixir and Phoenix backend with Postgres
• Frontend stack: React and Next.js
• Deploy frequently via CI/CD; AWS-hosted apps
• Mentor engineers and participate in code reviews

🎯 Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals; secure, scalable prod systems
• Experience designing automation workflows; AI fluency
• Systems thinking: define specs, break down plans, verify
• Postgres (or similar)
• CI/CD (GitLab, Github, Jenkins or similar)
• Nice to have: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Nextjs
