Senior Backend Engineer (Innovate)

📋 Description

• Design and deliver backend capabilities from specs to prod rollout and rollback.
• Define and instrument success metrics with cross-functional partners.
• Iterate quickly based on experiment results (KPIs, dashboards, signals).
• Build resilient, scalable, and cost-efficient systems for high-risk experiments.
• Diagnose and fix production issues using logs, metrics, and observability tools.
• Anticipate deployment, rollback, monitoring, and cost impact.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years backend experience, startup/scale-up preferred.
• Proficient in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience designing APIs for performance, security, observability.
• Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS).
• Strong engineering practices: testing, code quality, resilience.
• Product-minded; collaborates with Product; communicates clearly in English.
