Build upon and integrate feedback into API tooling and shared services.
Create new architectural foundations and distributed systems with other teams.
Work in an agile, scrum-based team focused on core platform capabilities.
Advocate for API governance across engineering via collaboration, automation, and outreach.
Own integrations within our API Gateway layer and service lifecycles from design to production.
Identify improvements to the design and implementation of critical shared services.

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of API standards, design approaches, and integration patterns.
Strong understanding of CAP Theorem and distributed systems design patterns.
Prior high-scale experience with Postgres/MySQL or similar, focusing on tuning DB and infra.
A strong operational background with Datadog, Honeycomb, OpenTelemetry/Prometheus/Grafana.
Proficient with TypeScript; Golang is a plus.
