Senior Backend Engineer - Platform Insights

📋 Description

• Design, build, and evolve Go backend services for the Data Insights Platform and Siphon.
• Own backend architecture for Data Insights Platform, Siphon, and Query API; include gRPC.
• Contribute to replication, buffering, and query storage (Siphon, NATS, ClickHouse).
• Drive production readiness and deployment across environments with rollout safety.
• Debug distributed systems in production: bottlenecks, scaling, observability.
• Collaborate with Infra/Data/Engineering on design, planning, reviews, and delivery.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Go backend engineering experience, building and operating production services.
• Design scalable, reliable systems for high-throughput/data workloads.
• APIs and service integrations experience, incl. gRPC between backend and apps.
• Experience with data platforms, data systems, or event pipelines.
• Experience with ClickHouse or similar query-focused stores.
• Working knowledge of Ruby on Rails or ability to ramp quickly.
