Senior Backend Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain data-intensive backend services with event-driven architecture.
• Develop APIs powering real-time monitoring and maintenance workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align backend with product vision and UX.
• Optimize data processing for performance, speed, reliability.
• Evolve systems via refactoring, best practices, and observability improvements.
• Document architectural decisions and implementations for future maintainers.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years backend development experience in product environments.
• Experience with event-driven apps using Kafka, RabbitMQ, BullMQ.
• Proficient in Go, Python, Node.js, and/or Rust.
• Deep understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
• Relational and non-relational DBs: PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, ScyllaDB, Cassandra, MongoDB.
• Built mission-critical backend services in high-growth product environments.
• Fluency in Portuguese.
